Whether you're smoothing out fine lines with Botox or adding volume with dermal fillers, the right pre and post-care can make a big difference in both results and recovery.
💉 Pre-Care for Botox and Fillers
To get the most out of your appointment:
Avoid blood thinners: Refrain from taking aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or vitamin E for 3–5 days before your treatment (unless prescribed by a physician) to reduce the risk of bruising.
Skip alcohol: Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
Stay hydrated: Well-hydrated skin heals better and responds more effectively to treatment.
Keep your skin calm: Avoid any harsh treatments like chemical peels or laser procedures for at least a week before your appointment.
Let us know if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding: We do not perform Botox or filler treatments during this time for safety reasons.
✨ Post-Care for Botox
No touching or rubbing: Avoid touching the injection site for at least 4 hours post-treatment.
Stay upright: Keep your head elevated and avoid lying down for 4 hours.
Avoid exercise: No heavy workouts, sauna, or hot yoga for 24 hours post-treatment.
Be patient: Results can take 3–7 days to show, with full effects in up to 14 days.
💧 Post-Care for Fillers
Expect some swelling or bruising: This is normal and usually subsides in a few days.
Use a cold compress: Apply gently to reduce swelling if needed.
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and alcohol: For 24–48 hours post-treatment.
Don’t schedule dental work: Avoid dental appointments for at least 2 weeks after filler to prevent pressure or infection risk in the treated area.
Avoid makeup: Wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup to the area.
