Treatment: Microneedling
To Improve your Skin Texture
What Is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a non-ablative procedure designed to target the deeper layers of skin without harming the surface. Using tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries beneath the skin, the treatment stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin, improving skin texture and elasticity.
This treatment is commonly used to address acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, and burn scars.
How Microneedling Works
Before starting, the skin is thoroughly cleansed, and a numbing cream is applied for comfort. A hand-held roller or an automated microneedling device with fine needles is then used to gently glide across the skin in a rolling or circular motion. After the session, a lightweight, oil-free serum is applied to soothe the skin. Post-treatment, the skin may appear pink, resembling a mild sunburn, for one to two days. Sessions can be repeated as needed, typically with six to eight weeks between treatments.
